Icefin Lead Engineer

Georgia Institute of Technology

As Lead Engineer of Icefin I am primarily responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical engineering teams and ensuring that the vehicle is field ready. Along with overseeing the current vehicle development I am leading the engineering development of a robotic sampling arm that will be used to take samples below Antarctica’s Ross Ice Shelf (RIS), one of the largest remaining unexplored environments on Earth.

Originally from Atlanta, I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2015 (BS Mechanical Engineering) and worked lighting design for before coming to GT in 2017. Our current project is RISE UP, and here is a few prior project: SIMPLE (Georgia Tech)
