Emma Brown is a 4th year Earth & Atmospheric Sciences undergraduate at Georgia Tech. Her research interests include geochemistry and astrobiology. She has worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Planetary Habitability & Technology lab since May 2019, and has completed two fieldwork trips to study hypersaline lakes in British Columbia, Canada. In the future, she plans to attend graduate school to further understand and constrain the limits of life in extreme environments.
