Jade Lawrence

Jade Lawrence, a native of San Diego, California, received her bachelor’s degree in biology from UC Santa Barbara in 2012 and a master’s degree in geology from Louisiana State University in 2017. She has spent several years working on lakes in arctic Alaska and in the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica. She previously worked with Dr. Schmidt on the SIMPLE project in 2015. Her research interests include very cold lakes and high latitudes.
