Engineer
Former Undergraduate Researcher, Cornell University
I am a robotics researcher and recent graduate from Cornell University, where I got my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in December 2025. I’ve been working with the PH&T Lab since 2023 when I started as an undergrad. I work on both design and software for Icefin and our other underwater systems, and I’m especially interested in robot perception, navigation, and sonar mapping. I will be starting a Ph.D. program in either mechanical engineering or robotics in Fall 2026!
I have also been an intern at NASA Langley Research Center and NASA Johnson Space Center, where I’ve enjoyed working on robotics R&D. I am a big nerd about both space and ocean stuff. I also love mountain biking, backpacking, and epic fantasy novels.
SSHOWUP 2026 is my first field season with the lab, as well as my first experience with field work ever. It is already off to an amazing start and I’m looking forward to deploying many more field robots in the future!
